I’m completely agree with u…yeah it’s very important dat we let people know ab8 our community, culture festivals etc, nd also we shud know ab8 others….….

hey I don’t think so I know enough ab8 these stuffs ,but whatever I know I’d like to share with u guys ….ok here u go

Language…. the official language is bangle, aalso known as Bengali. I think some people in Bangladesh also speak English nd Hindi (not sure)
Bangla vocabulary shows many influences. These include a strong Islamic influence seen in the greetings of "Salaam aleikum" (Peace be unto you) and "Khuda hafez" (God Bless you) In West Bengal the Hindu influence is greater with the use of the Hindu greeting "Namashkar"….
Bengali words are mix up with other different languages….so sme of the words can b from Myanmar too… lolz.. I think many of them (people) in bd, they don’t know how 2 say these words in Bengali (I’m one of them)……lol

Bangladeshi Culture & Society.......

Bangladesh is a hierarchical society.
We respect people of their age and position…Older people are naturally as wise nd granted respect….many people in Bangladesh they cum form different back ground but stay in Bangladesh…most of the people in bd they stay with their parents nd they look after their parents until they die…….

Religion…….
The majority of Bangladeshis are Muslim. the percentage of Muslim is 83%. Hindu’s r 16% other 1%. We have strong tradition of music, dance, and literature that includes classical devotions of Hindu and Muslim……………….

Festivals….
Islam defines many of the festivals in Bangladesh. These include two Eids (one after Ramadan and one after the Hajj) Shab-e-Qadr (the night of power), Milad un-Nabi (birth date of the Prophet Muhammad) and Shab-e-Barat (the night of the fortune).
also Hindu’s r celebrate their festivals as well as Muslim do, these r include Durga Puja and Kali Puja (community worshipping of Goddess Durga and Kali).
On the whole an entire community participates in each other's religious ceremonies….
